After spending 25 years as a surgical assistant, I had to face an unexpected and life-altering change due to a traumatic brain injury. This injury forced me to leave behind a career I loved and led me on a new journey—one where God revealed a greater purpose for my life. Through healing and restoration, I discovered the therapeutic power of creating with my hands. What began as a personal form of worship quickly grew into something much bigger, as I began crafting worship flags and other faith-inspired accessories to share with others.

 

As my coordination improved, I expanded my offerings to include custom-made tote bags and wristlets, all while continuing to make worship flags. This process became a part of my own healing, and I am thankful to now be able to use my skills to bless others. Each piece I create is a reflection of God’s healing power in my life, and it brings me immense joy to know that my work can encourage others in their faith and worship.
